The First UFO Incident: Roswell UFO Incident

In the summer of 1947, either late June or the first week of July, a New Mexico ranch foreman named Mac Brazel reported finding strange debris in an open field near the town of Roswell. An intriguing narrative developed rapidly: The material may be from a crashed alien craft, called a “flying disk” or “flying saucer,” now known as a UFO. The U.S. government soon claimed it was a downed high-level weather balloon and dismissed the alien crash story. Over the years, the events have become known as “The Roswell UFO Incident,” or simply “Roswell.” The official news story from the Roswell Daily Record In the 1970s, interest revived in the Roswell story. Did an alien spacecraft really crash in the New Mexico desert in 1947? Were aliens recovered from the crash site, possibly one or two still alive? Did the government and military work together to cover up the story? The Roswell UFO Incident has subsequently grown in the public consciousness to the point it is now widely considered the highest profile UFO case on record. “Lydia, get ready for a scoop! We went to get this on the ABC wire right away. Listen to this! A flying saucer has crashed… No I’m not joking. It crashed near Roswell. I’ve been there and seen it. It’s like a big crumpled dishpan. Some Ranger has halted under a cattle shelter with his tractor. The Army is there and they are going to pick it up. The whole area is now closed off. And get this – they’re saying something about little man being on board… Start getting this on the teletype right away while I’m on the phone.” -Johnny McBoyle, reporter and part owner of KSWS radio station in Roswell New Mexico on the phone to Lydia Sleppy, teletype operator at KOAT radio in Albuquerque New Mexico. July 7, 1947. (“The Roswell Incident: The Classic Study of UFO Contact” by Charles Berlitz and William L. Moore) William W. “Mac” Brazel was a sheepherder and cowboy in the Southwestern United States. He loved to ride the range under the brilliant blue New Mexico sky, rustling the sheep into the barn, shearing them down and taking the wool to market for a good profit. Mac’s wife and kids lived over in Tularosa, New Mexico, but his job as foreman of the Foster Ranch was miles away near Corona. When he was away from the family for work, he boarded at an old ranch house every evening. Mac didn’t know it at the time, but he was about to discover what has evolved into the most famous crash in the history of UFOs. One night in the early part of July, 1947 (reports vary whether it was the 2nd or 4th of July), an enormous thunderstorm moved in, lightning crackling through the sky. Among the lighting strikes hitting the ground, he noticed one was different–it sounded more like an explosion. The next day Mac and a neighbour boy named William D. “Dee” Proctor were checking the fences for damage or needed repairs. They came upon an area that was covered with shiny pieces and bits of something they didn’t recognize—the material covered a large area that spanned a couple of small hills separated by an arroyo. Was this scene the result of the “explosion” Mac had hear the night before? Mac gathered up some of the debris right then, or came back with his wife and kids later to collect some of it. When they arrived back at the ranch house, he stored the material in a shed. His daughter, Bessie, described the items in a July, 1979 interview: “There was what appeared to be pieces of heavily waxed paper and a sort of aluminium-like foil. Some of these pieces had something like numbers and lettering on them, but there were no words that we were able to make out. Some of the metal-foil like pieces had a sort of tape stuck to them, and when these were held to the light they showed what looked like pastel flowers or designs. Even though the stuff looked like tape it could not be peeled off or removed at all. It was very light in weight but there sure was a lot of it.” “Could it have been a weather balloon?” she was asked. “No, it was definitely not a balloon. We had seen weather balloons quite a lot, both on the ground and in the air. We had even found a couple of Japanese-style balloons that had come down in the area once. We had also picked up a couple of those thin rubber weather balloons with instrument packages. This was nothing like that. I have never seen anything resembling this sort of thing before, or since…” In a signed affidavit she provided more detail: “The debris looked like pieces of a large balloon which had burst. The pieces were small, the largest I remember measuring was about the same as the diameter of a basketball. Most of it was a kind of double-sided material, foil-like on one side and rubber-like on the other. Both sides were greyish silver in colour, the foil more silvery than the rubber. Sticks, like kite sticks, were attached to some of the pieces with a whitish tape. The foil-rubber material could not be torn like ordinary aluminium foil can be torn.” On either July 6or 7 of 1947, Brazel decided to visit Chaves County Sheriff George Wilcox to report the find. The sheriff contacted Major Jesse Marcel, the base intelligence officer for Roswell Army Air Field. Major Marcel and another man went back to the ranch with Brazel on Monday, July 7. They spent that Monday afternoon trying to find any more “parts of the weather device,” according to Marcel. “We found a few more patches of tinfoil and rubber.” Walter Haut, the public information officer at RAAF On July 8 Walter Haut, the public information officer at Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF), put out a press
Whan And How to Eat Bananas -Ripe or Unripe ?

Did you know that the nutritional properties of those bananas hanging in your kitchen change as they grow riper. As they ripen, they become sweeter. Why? Because there are enzymes in the banana that begin to break down starches, which aren’t generally sweet, into sugar. This also makes the banana easier to digest for your gut. Additionally, Japanese researchers recently discovered something fascinating about bananas; as a banana ripens, it produces more antioxidants than its fresher brethren contain. When the banana has dark spots on the peel, it produces what’s called TNF, or Tumor Necrosis Factor, a substance that combats cancer and abnormal cells. The darker the spots, the more powerful the banana at killing cancer cells. A ripe banana is eight times more effective in boosting the body’s immune system than a fresh banana is. So the best time to eat a banana? When it’s fully ripe. But it’s worth noting, if you suffer type 2 diabetes, you may want to eat a ripe banana with nut butter. The fats in the nut butter will slow down sugar absorption in your blood stream so it doesn’t hit you all at once, making it easier for your body to break down.
Facts behind Eisenhower’s Meeting with Aliens

For many years, one of the most intriguing tales out there has been humanity and our contact with aliens. With so much out there it’s almost impossible to deny – for example, there have been numerous governments and former administrators around the world who have effectively “disclosed” – it’s no surprise that the variety as well as the severity of the stories has grown exponentially over the years. This usually comes down to one thing for most people, however – the fact that our top brass are well in the know about the alien races we’ve come across. Whether you are talking about the Anunnaki, the Nordics or anything else that has been mentioned throughout the various studies that have been held into alien life, finding links that are far more than a small pointer in the right direction is easier than ever before. One of the most explosive stories in the entire catalogue of alien disclosure and meetings, though, is the stories that revolve around President Dwight David Eisenhower. In office for eight years from January 20th 1953-1961, Dwight Eisenhower is one of the well-recognized names within United States politics. It was his leadership that got the States through the battles on the Western Front, and he was also the first Supreme Commander of NATO. By all accounts, though, he was one of the first presidents who really went after the alien side of things. There’s no doubt that the idea of disclosure and meeting new species piqued the interest of Eisenhower. Despite being deemed by many as something more akin to a spiritual or religious experiment – such is the lack of genuine, cast iron proof – there was a clamor within the White House to find out more about extraterrestrial races. After all, if we aren’t alone out there would it not be beneficial for the administration that runs the country to know about it? The problem is that, just as you might imagine with most UFO-based stories, there’s a lot of conjecture out there. Are the meetings true? Did they even take place? How credible is the sources? Can we genuinely believe that Eisenhower met with aliens and just neglected to mention it? As one of the more credible Presidents of recent times, does it strike anyone else as quite worrying that disclosure was never brought forward by Eisenhower? Out of each of the President’s outside of Kennedy, he seemed to be the most likely to actually bring this to this to the attention of the American people. Add in the fact that the rumors have flown around for many, many years without any kind of 100% proof for or against the theories, and you’ve got one of the most confusing parts of the recent American history. So, just what are the striking stories and rumors? If we are to believe that Eisenhower was carrying out these kinds of missions, what is supposed to have taken place at these specific points in time? The most common one that you will hear is the Edwards Air Force Base story. The Edwards Air Force Base Story This is a hugely popular form of story that centres on a specific event that took place in the early months of 1954. This is what makes this story so great – it’s so varied that even a set date isn’t likely to be found anywhere. Aerial shot of Edwards Air Force Base It’s said that the President made a “routine” trip to the Edwards base as a means of diplomacy. However, it’s alleged that what went on inside was far more than just your usual partaking of an air force base for PR or morale reasons. Instead, the story tends to follow two specific trains of thought; Eisenhower visited the base in an attempt to start dialogue with an alien race that had landed. This is the one that people love to believe the most – what sounds more like a movie than the US President going to meet with a clan of aliens who have arrived on Earth? This is the story with the most traction in terms of people loving it and wanting to believe it, but does not really stand the test of time when you look at various facets of the story Eisenhower was there visiting a crashed wreckage of a UFO. Whether or not this is true is entirely open to interpretation – nobody knows, obviously. This was deemed to be the first time that a story broke in the “underground” about dead aliens and spacecraft being captured across the globe. This holds more credence with many people as there are far more “images” and other useful features flying around that depict the fact we’ve found corpses of aliens rather than spoken with them directly, and on a regular basis face-to-face. Whether it’s the Eisenhower theory you are looking at or you wish to go back a little longer in history, there is far more supporting evidence that we have found dead aliens The issue then, of course, is how did they die? There are plenty of clips on YouTube of what appears to be fighter jets engaging in combat with something otherworldly. Then there’s the legislation that runs around from Russia and Mexico. Both of their administrations have, at one point, more or less admitted that they’ve come across things in the sky that aren’t human. They’ve engaged them and merely lost ships. So, how is it possible that our jets of today can be swatted away like plastic toys? Yet our aircraft in Eisenhower’s time could shoot down an aircraft? This is the only part that leaves me feeling skeptical that they were killed. Instead, it’s more likely that there’s been a crash or some form of incident that left the aliens in a less than satisfactory position. It’s deemed that on the night after Eisenhower met the aliens that he enforced his closest confidantes and strategists to keep quiet about the possibility
Dutch Scientists Are Harnessing Electricity From Living Plants To Power Cell Phones And WiFi

It seems like there are near endless ways to produce power these days, even simply pulling it from the air around you. Now, Plant-e, a Dutch company, has found a way to harness the power of plants. They believe that plants can power cell phones, street lights, and can even act as Wi-Fi hotspots. Their flagship project called Starry Sky was launched last November near Amsterdam. The project powered more than 300 LED streetlights. How does it work? Plant-e explains on their website: “Via photosynthesis a plant produces organic matter. Part of this organic matter is used for plant-growth, but a large part can’t be used by the plant and is excreted into the soil via the roots. Around the roots naturally occurring micro-organisms break down the organic compounds to gain energy from. In this process, electrons are released as a waste product. By providing an electrode for the micro-organisms to donate their electrons to, the electrons can be harvested as electricity. Research has shown that plant-growth isn’t compromised by harvesting electricity, so plants keep on growing while electricity is concurrently produced.” Imagine for a moment that you have a house with a tree growing right through the center of it. Pretty neat, right? Now imagine that same house also being powered by that tree. Could you imagine? No more nasty coal plants, no more environment-destroying hydroelectric dams, just plant power. This technology has a long way to go. LED lights are easy to power because they’re so energy efficient, often using 90% less electricity than their incandescent counterparts. But Plant-e hopes to scale up its technology. Energetic Signatures and Invisible Fields of Influence

Science tells us that we live in a virtual sea of invisible fields of influence, which impact our daily lives in profound ways, yet we typically have little or no conscious awareness of them. In Science, these phenomena include: •The activity of the Earth’s geomagnetic field, which has been shown to be correlated with various emotional and psychological states in human beings. •Electromagnetism, which initiates the attraction of positively charged protons to negatively charged electrons in human cells. •The strong nuclear force, which is more powerful than electromagnetism and therefore holds positively charged protons together within the atomic nucleus. •The biophoton field in plants and animals, which is believed to be the chief means of communication between DNA molecules across the entire body of a plant, animal or human. These and other forces play crucial roles in our lives. And if it weren’t for science informing us of their influence, most of us would remain entirely unaware of their existence. The same can be said of “subtle” energies. The emerging science of subtle energy reveals the existence of energies that exist beyond the four known forces of conventional science (the strong nuclear force, weak nuclear force, electromagnetism and gravity). These energies are faster than light and typically unmeasurable using electromagnetic instruments; hence the term “subtle” energy. The subtle aspect of these energies does not speak to their capacity for facilitating positive transformations in behavior, health and awareness, however. Research has revealed that the presence of these energies can lead to such transformations, in both the short-term and long-term, by effectively “conditioning” the space in which they emerge. Such spaces have been anecdotally reported for centuries in places often referred to as “sacred,” whether they are power spots in nature, holy pilgrimage sites or sites with long histories of deep prayer and meditation. By constantly cultivating highly conditioned spaces of ultra-high frequency energy—energy that is associated with higher states of consciousness, it is possible to subtly but effectually raise the level of consciousness of the surrounding environment, and thereby “pull” or “attract” human consciousness toward higher stages of development. This process might be thought of as a kind of “sacred environmentalism,” in which the practical coupling of our physical nature with our higher spiritual capacities becomes easier and more accessible. What is a Subtle Energetic “Signature”? In his book, The Basic Code of the Universe, Dr. Massimo Citro speaks of a basic governing “code,” made up of “the ensemblemusic-img-2 of information that allows bodies to exist, the blueprint of the construction.” This code can be thought of as having both an informational component and an energetic component, the former informing a particular substance how to “be” itself, and the latter providing the subtle vehicle for the flow of that information. It is this basic governing code that we refer to as the “energetic signature” of a substance. Is Experiencing the Subtle Energetic “Signature” of a Particular Substance the Same as Actually Ingesting the Physical Substance? Yes and no. The energetic signature of a substance is its quintessence, its purest distillation. So, devoid of its extraneous physical components, the experience of it is far more refined and understated, but no less powerful in its ability to affect long-term transformations in consciousness. In fact, in many ways this subtle energetic signature is far more capable than the physical substance to effect positive change, especially when it is amplified, because it resonates more powerfully with the subtle and causal energies associated with human life and consciousness. You might think of the energetic signatures produced by Subtle Energy Sciences as flower essences amplified millions and even billions of times. The key is long-term potentiation: The longer one is immersed in these amplified fields of subtle influence, the more they initiate and facilitate positive change over time. Medical Miracles That Science Can or Cannot Explain.

Remarkable and incomprehensible phenomena have been observed throughout human history – phenomena which, without any logical explanation, can only be described as miracles. Surprisingly, a majority of the human population believes in the concept of miracles, but rarely are these occurrences discussed openly in public forums. Yet this type of mysticism is embedded into various cultures throughout the world, in all stages of human history. Buddhism is a great example, a faith that is abundant with scriptures of human beings with superpowers, the power of human consciousness, distant healing, etc. Even today, when it comes to the power of human consciousness and par psychological manifestations like distant health or telepathy, there is substantial evidence confirming that at least some of these phenomena are, without a doubt, real. Just because we cannot develop a sound scientific theory to explain these types of occurrences does not mean they do not exist. Below are 5 examples of “miracles” that have been observed in the field of medicine. “Miracles are not contrary to nature, but only contrary to what we know about nature.” – Saint Augustine In 1983, physician Rex Gardner published a study in the British Medical Journal after he studied a number of miraculous healing events. Here are a select few. Example #1 In 1977, an eleven month old baby boy with signs of a lung disease that is almost always fatal was taken to a healing service by a Pentecostal pastor. Keep in mind that this approach was taken after the disease was treated without success. A few days later he was remarkably better and a few years later he was completely normal. Example #2 In 1975, a student physician was suddenly diagnosed with what is called Water-house Friderichsen syndrome. It’s a fatal disease, a bacterial blood infection that leads to massive internal bleeding. In this particular hospital there was a zero percent success rate of healing for anyone suffering from it. In the same evening, four separate groups actively sent healing intention to the patient and there then occurred a drastic improvement in her condition. When she had been admitted to the hospital, her chest X-rays showed extensive left-side pneumonia and a completely collapsed middle lobe of the lung. She also had developed intraocular bleeding, which left her one hundred percent blind in one eye. Only forty-eight hours later, the X-ray showed a perfectly clear chest, and she had regained full vision. This is impossible, according to modern day physicians. Example #3 Case number three is about a woman who took a hard fall on a cement floor. She was taken to a hospital and the X-ray showed a compound fracture of the pelvis. This is a serious injury, one that takes a very long time to heal and even longer to rehabilitate. This woman was taken home where she was then surround by others praying for her and laying their hands on her. She should have been bedridden, unable to move for weeks, but after only two days she had fully recovered. Example #4 In 1970, the captain of the Girl’s Brigade at Enon Baptist Church, Monkwearmouth, had a deterioration in a large varicose ulcer of the leg which had been troubling her for many years. Every morning her bandage was soaked with pus, and her doctor told her that her ulcer would probably not heal, and even if it did it would require skin grafting. What happened here, again, was healing intention. She was visited by a number of people who laid hands on the area and prayed. Healing became “immediately complete.” By the next morning, virtually the whole ulcer had dried up and healed over with healthy skin. One week later it was completely healed. Example #5 In 1963, a man by the name of Robin Talbot of the Overseas Missionary Fellowship, along with his wife, was the first Christian ever to stay in the village of Still Water. It was in the Mong tribal area of North Thailand. While they were there, a woman by the name of Mrs. Ling, who was approximately 50 years old at the time, became very ill. According to the villagers and the missionaries, she passed away soon after. Twenty minutes after her death she sat up and told a tale of an “afterlife” experience. That being said, there is absolutely no hard proof that she had actually died. In modern day scientific realms, this is considered to be a Near Death Experience (NDE), something that has been documented, verified, and confirmed by various neuroscientists (although unexplainable). You can read more about that, and watch a video of Dr. Bruce Greyson speaking at a conference that was held by the United Nations here and here. He is considered to be one of the “fathers” of near death studies. He is Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Science at the University of Virginia. Before Disagreeing With This Article Read This Again, these types of occurrences are well documented throughout human history, “miracles” have and do happen, despite the fact that we are not able to explain them. For example, an article published in the New England Journal Of Medicine by Dr. Jacalyn Duffin outlines how her interest was sparked “in the vast archives of the Vatican. Step by step, she guides us through her analysis of more than 1400 miracles dating from 1588 to the present. Hampered by the wealth of records and the linguistic and palaeographic difficulties they represent, this study only scratches the surface, inviting further research.” The Science Behind Such Phenomena We continue to discover new instances of such events. For example, in 1993 Brendan O’Regan and Caryle Hirshberg of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) surveyed a vast amount of medical literature. That year they found over 1,200 cases documenting what is called “spontaneous remissions.” This means unexpected, sudden, and startling cases of complete healings. “Of those cases, 1,051 referred to spontaneous remission of cancer and 334 to other diseases. These were all instances where patients were
Why America Dropped The Atomic Bomb? It Was Not To End The War

On August 6, 1945, the world (unfortunately) entered the atomic age. Without warning, a single nuclear bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima killed about 90,000 people instantly and injured many others – who then died from radiation sickness. Three days later, a second atomic strike on the city of Nagasaki killed some 37,000 people and injured another 43,000. Together the two bombs eventually killed an estimated 200,000 Japanese civilians. “The Library of Congress adds roughly 60 million pages to its holdings each year, a huge cache of information for the public. However, also each year, the U.S. Government classifies nearly ten times that amount – an estimated 560 million pages of documents. For scholars engaged in political, historical, scientific, or any other archival work, the grim reality is that most of their government’s activities are secret.” – Richard Dolan, historian, author (source) (you can read more about what is known as the “black budget” here) A very important point made above, how can we really know anything about American history if a significant portion of it remains classified? That being said, how can we really know anything about American history when we have so many examples of dishonesty and misinformation? What will the history books say about 9/11? We will have to wait and see, but what our history books tell us about the atomic bomb and why it was dropped seems to be a complete lie, according to what are some very credible sources. We are often taught that yes, use of the atomic bomb was necessary to end the war with Japan at the earliest possible moment, but judging by the statements of many high ranking political and military personnel this is simply not the case. Here’s what General/President Dwight Eisenhower had to say about it in his 1963 memoir, The White House Years: Mandate for Change, 1953-1956 (pp. 312-313): “Japan was already defeated and that dropping the bomb was completely unnecessary, and secondly, our country should avoid shocking world opinion by the use of a weapon whose employment was, I thought, no longer mandatory as a measure to save American lives. It was my belief that Japan was, at that very moment, seeking some way to surrender with a minimum loss of “face.” (source) “The Japanese were ready to surrender and it wasn’t necessary to hit them with that awful thing… I hated to see our country be the first to use such a weapon.” (source) Given what I mentioned at the start of this article, I think it’s also important to note that Eisenhower also said (in his farewell address) that: “In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for a disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry, can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense, with our peaceful message and goals.” (source) Did this “misplaced power” influence the decision to drop the atomic bomb? It’s impossible to say for sure, but it seems absurd to not consider the possibility. “Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the U.S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.” – Woodrow Wilson, from his book entitled The New Freedom (1913). Another great example comes from General Douglas MacArthur, who sent a 40-page memorandum to President Roosevelt that clearly outlines five different surrender overtures from high ranking Japanese officials. This memo was also revealed on the front page of the Chicago Tribune and the Washington Times on August 19th, 1945. Again, the memo unequivocally states that the Japanese were offering to surrender. What is even more eye opening is the fact that the surrender terms were practically identical to what was ultimately accepted by the Americans after the bomb had dropped. The memo (source) stated these terms: Complete surrender of all Japanese forces and arms, at home, on island possessions, and in occupied countries. Occupation of Japan and its possessions by Allied troops under American direction. Japanese relinquishment of all territory seized during the war, as well as Manchuria, Korea, and Taiwan. Regulation of Japanese industry to halt production of any weapons and other tools of war. Release of all prisoners of war and internees. Surrender of designated war criminals Japan also made multiple attempts to end the war through Sweden and Portugal, who were neutral at the time. They also approached Soviet Russia’s leaders “with a view of terminating the war if possible by September.” (source) Here is a quote from Deputy Director of the Office of Naval Intelligence, Ellis Zacharias: “Just when the Japanese were ready to capitulate, we went ahead and introduced to the world the most devastating weapon it had ever seen and, in effect, gave the go-ahead to Russia to swarm over Eastern Asia. Washington decided that Japan had been given its chance and now it was time to use the A-bomb. I submit that it was the wrong decision. It was wrong on strategic grounds. And it was wrong on humanitarian grounds.” (source) Similarly, Admiral Leahy, Chief of Staff to presidents Roosevelt and Truman, later commented: It is my opinion that the use of the barbarous weapon at Hiroshima and Nagasaki was of no material assistance in our war against Japan… The Japanese were already defeated and ready to surrender because of the effective sea blockade and the successful bombing with conventional weapons… My own feeling was that in being the first to use it, we had adopted an ethical standard common to the barbarians of the Dark Ages. I was not taught
Some Good Reasons to Cut Yourself Some Slack

1. Repeat after me: There’s no such thing as perfect What would perfect even be? What’s its age, IQ, religious preference, and blood type? How tall is it? Is it outgoing and funny or introspective and thoughtful? Is it a student, a CEO or a stay at home parent? There’s no perfect way to be, we simply are what we are. We are unique, and there’s nothing specific that we are supposed to do, be or have. 2. Everyone has struggles, problems and flaws, and many of them are much more challenging to deal with than our own. When you’re feeling down on yourself, take inventory of the people who are around you. What are their flaws? What do they struggle with? Identifying the imperfections in other people can help you feel a little bit better about where you are in this moment. 3. Someone probably loves your flaws exactly as they are. Sometimes the things we hate about ourselves are exactly what others love about us. Think about some of your favorite actors, comedians, teachers, friends, coworkers and family members-chances are their flaws are exactly what make them the special characters they are. 4. You’ll be looking back on today’s problems differently some day. How you feel is temporary. For example, when you look in the mirror maybe you see signs of aging, and that stresses you out. However, ten years from now you’ll be looking at pictures of yourself thinking “Wow! I was so young!” Likewise, you might have been completely devastated when you failed a math test in 7th grade but today the test seems completely insignificant and unimportant. How we feel about ourselves in the present moment is simply our perspective from where we stand in this exact space. Someday our perspective will change and we will see things differently, so please realize that feelings of self-criticism are conditional and temporary. 5. No one else is ever going to be as critical of you as you are. Sure, it might be embarrassing to say something inappropriate in a meeting, get fired or take a bad picture, but no one else is watching you as closely as you are yourself. We are all a little narcissistic and self-absorbed, so trust that the people around you are more concerned with their own issues than they are with yours. Although we might feel like there is a giant spotlight on our imperfections and they are being broadcasted around the world, no one’s really paying too much attention to them. 6. We’re all headed to the same place anyways. Not to be too morbid, but all we really know for certain is that at some point, we are going to die. It doesn’t matter who was the most attractive, the most accomplished, the smartest or made the least amount of mistakes. We all share a similar fate no matter what we do, how we look or what we have. Being hard on ourselves only makes the journey less pleasant. 7. You deserve love and acceptance, especially from the person you’re with all day, every day We all need love to be our best selves. Knowing this, please remember that you are the best person to love and accept yourself, because you are the only one you spend time with 24 hours a day. If you want to be happy and have good self-esteem your best bet is to treat yourself with kindness and allow yourself to be exactly what you are, flaws and all. So the next time you’re feeling down on yourself take a few minutes to get some perspective and cut yourself some slack. Though feelings of self-criticism are normal and will pop up from time to time, there’s no reason to dwell on them and let them drag you down (function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i[‘GoogleAnalyticsObject’]=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){ (i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o), m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m) })(window,document,’script’,’//www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js’,’ga’); ga(‘create’, ‘UA-64446598-1’, ‘auto’); ga(‘send’, ‘pageview’);
